Geauga County, OH Real Estate

Geauga County (/ˈɑːɡə/ jee-AH-gə) is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 93,389, which is an increase of 2.7% from 90,895 in 2000. It is named for a Native American word meaning 'raccoon' in the Onondaga or Seneca language, originally the name of the Grand River. The county seat is Chardon. In 2008, Forbes Magazine ranked Geauga County as the fourth best place in America to raise a family.

Geauga County is part of the Cleveland–Elyria–Mentor Metropolitan Statistical Area.
